Despite the constant threat of a Godzilla attack, there are still a handful of reasons to move to Japan (other than game shows, and all things tentacle-related). The Land of the Rising Sun is about to receive a glorious gift from Sharp in the form of the Aquos SH905iTV. Here in the US, the Aquos line is synonymous with Sharp HDTV, but this new device is Sharp’s foray into the mobile entertainment market. This is a cell phone sports a 3.2” display with a resolution of 480 x 854, and the ability to display 16 million colors. Couple that with its 3.2 mp camera, FM transmitter, 1seg tuner, and support for the new Dolby Mobile standard for enhanced audio playback, and you have a device that might convince some people to move to Japan. I, however, will not be making the move to the land of Sushi. I already have a kickass phone with GPS, a Hi-Def screen, 5.1 surround sound, integrated BetaMax and HD-DVD support, and Push-To-Talk… In other news, my phone is mobile as far as the cord in my living room will let me go, and I am a liar.
Sharp Aquos SH905iTV is Awesome, The Japanese are Selfish
