I am a big fan of inconveniences. I am also fond of point-making. In fact, I am inconveniently pointing this out to you from my cellphone, via text messaging. Not because I have to, my laptop is right next to me, but because I like making things difficult for myself and others. Well, this video gets my two swollen thumbs up (you know, from all the texting I’m doing right now). The people over at Improv Everywhere (also known for their 5 minute, 200 person freeze at Grand Central Station, NYC) decided that it would be fun to bring their computers to Starbucks to exploit the free Wi-Fi, for a bit. And by computers, I mean their desktops (not to be confused with laptops). Yes, their desktops – fully equipped with giant CRT monitors. This prank left some pretty awesome looks on the faces of bystanders. Some waited to use the computers, thinking they were for public use, and others were just like ‘WTF?’. Good job at inconveniently making a point (what ever that was), ImprovEverywhere peeps.
