What If Saul Bass Made The Opening For Star Wars?
March 4, 2008
Ever wonder what the world would be like if Star Wars came out 20 years earlier? Or, how the face of geekdom would look like today? No? Ever wonder what the opening would look like? No!? Dude, seriously, think about it. You don’t want to, huh? Fine. Whatever. Just watch this video. It’s pretty rad. It is an interpretation by youtuber, brooksy362436, of what the opening of Star Wars would look like if it were done by Saul Bass (known for his Academy Award winning opening sequences in Preminger’s The Man with the Golden Arm, and Alfred Hitchcock’s North by Northwest). And now you have your fill of irrelevant information and what-ifs for the day.
A remastered response version after the jump.
