USB Aromatherapy: Hippies Use Computers, Too
February 5, 2008

Today, ladies and gentlemen, is a dark day in computing history. It seems that hippies have figured out how to use computers, and have started making their own peripherals. No longer do nerds own the gadgetry realm exclusively. Say hello to the harbinger of doom: The USB Aromatherapy Oil Burner. This little device, available at thinkgeek, plugs into your USB port, and has a small heating element in the middle that allows for the “burning” of scented oils. I don’t know about you, but this sounds a little dangerous to me. Any product that uses “burning” and “oil” seems a little too dangerous to have attached to your computer. Perhaps this is just thinkgeek’s brilliant plan to rid the world of hippies. Perhaps this device is less Aromatherapy device, and more “hippie burning” device. Perhaps this is just a way to sucker hippies into paying for their own fiery, oily, rose-scented demise. Let’s just hope this thing ends up burning down some hippie communes with it’s USB-Fueled inferno of patchouli and old Phish vinyls. More picturey goodness after the jump…
