Porcupine Pendant Lamp Looks Deadly, Painful

This lamp, designed by Australian Company, Ruby Studio, looks like it is supposed to be a prop from the next SAW movie. The metal pins along the side contract, to a chandelier-like state, and expand to a god-knows-what-heavy-metal-death-trap state (yes, I did use that many hyphens). Despite its deathly semblance, it does look kinda cool. I was inspired by this concept, so I decided to make my own chair variation of the design. I gave it to my parents for their anniversary, but it didn’t go over too well. My dad threw me out of the house, and my mom still has to wear special padded pants.
