For those of you out there who like to constantly abuse their electronics, Olympus has heard your cry. The upcoming 1030SW boasts some pretty impressive durability statistics. This bad boy is drop proof from up to 6 feet, waterproof up to 30 feet, and can brave the elements at temperatures as low as 14 degrees Fahrenheit. It also boasts an impressive 10.1 MP sensor, 3.6x optical zoom, and a 2.7 in. LCD. So if you, much like me, enjoy playing “toss the camera into the pool from a height of 6 feet, and then toss it from the pool into the freezer”, then you should run out and pick one up in March… you will save a lot of money in the long run on digital cameras. Also, if you enjoy playing that game, you are probably an idiot.
