Serenata is Innovative, Expensive

Famed Danish audio/visual design company Bang & Olufsen has teamed up with Samsung to create the newest in high-end cell phone technology: The Serenata. The Serenata features 4GB of internal storage, a 240×240 resolution 2.26 in. touch-sensitive LCD screen, a click wheel located above the LCD screen, and stereo speakers hidden behind a fold-out panel on the back of the phone. The Serenata is Bluetooth enabled, supports 3G/HSDPA support, and support for e-mail (POP3/IMAP). Despite all of the Serenata’s innovation as far as audio quality for a phone is concerned, it does lack a camera. The Serenata is expected to drop in the US in the near future, and with a price tag of nearly $1,600 it seems to be aimed squarely at the enthusiast market. I would be interested, but it does not feature a gun like my current cell phone. If it isn’t deadly, I’m not interested. In other news, I don’t own a cell phone, but am wanted in 3 states for armed robbery.
